Team Bios

Claudio Chavez has over twenty years experience in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and related investments and is currently a Principal of CWG Capital.  Mr. Chavez was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Arch Bay Capital, LLC, an investment and asset management company.  Arch Bay managed over $3.5 billion of distressed residential mortgage and real estate assets resolved over 14,000 assets across the country. Mr. Chavez was responsible for restructuring management of the company and the strategic direction of the company, including investment and disposition strategy and management of operations and asset management functions.  Mr. Chavez was in private law practice for over fifteen years with a focus representing investors and lenders in commercial real estate transactions involving a broad array of asset classes.  Mr. Chavez was a partner in the international law firms of DLA Piper US LLP and Katten Muchin Rosenman, LLP.

Mr. Chavez holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pitzer College.

Keith Greengrove has been actively involved in the real estate industry as a principal investor, asset manager and advisor over a 30-year career and is currently a principal of CWG Capital. Having experienced three historical financial cycles, he has had the opportunity to hold diverse positions such as: Managing Director and Head of Asia of Real Estate Private Equity for Lehman Brothers; Senior Vice President overseeing global investments at Oppenheimer; partner, manager and principal in a $2 billion asset management venture sponsored by one of the world's largest macro investment funds, Moore Capital.  He recently assisted in the institutionalization of Deutsche Bank's Special Situations Group and acted as a strategic advisor for potential European M&A opportunities to the investment/special servicing team at CIII Capital Partners.  He has acted as chairman and chief executive in overseas public companies and helped run entrepreneurial concerns abroad and in the United States, as one of the founding principals of Contrarian Capital and currently CWG Capital. 

Mr. Greengrove earned his B.S. in Business and Economics from the University of Delaware and did his graduate work in Real Estate at New York University.
